Hi! I’m Natalie Gwilliams (Nat for short), the owner of Nat Gwilliams. During the day, I work in an office as an eCommerce Manager, but by night, I transform into the illustrator and sewist you see before you! As an independent local artist based in the UK, I offer individuality to those tired of the mass-produced fast fashion status quo, a revolution in handmade and traditional skill in a faceless digital age.

Professionally trained with a 1^st class BA (Hons) in Illustration and over a decade of practice in various creative fields, I offer surface pattern design licences to businesses looking for luxury artwork for homeware and textile products. My designs are illustrated using traditional techniques before being digitised and are inspired by my love of nature, the outdoors and quirky humour.

I am an unapologetically enthusiastic crafter who doesn’t know when to put something down. I am always looking for new techniques to learn, and I cannot wait to share tips and tricks I pick up on my own journey with you! Join me as I build a textiles community we can all be a part of, whether you’re learning traditional skills passed on by your grandparents, you picked it up to cure brain rot during COVID, or you’ve been sewing for some time and want to share your own expertise with other sewists!

Using the designs I create, I have my own line of fabric, which I use to craft items for my home and wardrobe. The fabrics in my store are printed by my production partner on-demand in the UK to reduce wastage and I strive to look for ways to keep improving the sustainability of my products.
